Assuming this is about USA market Vanagons...

The details of a “Wolfsburg” varied from year to year. In 1985 VW didn’t produce a Wolfsburg Edition brochure, but seems to have placed the WE emblems on all “base” Campers with seats for 6 but without kitchen. GL Campers had the complete kitchen and seated just 4.

Some call all the campers like this “Wolfsburgs”, but not all Wolfsburgs were like these. Others call them “Weekenders”, but VW never called them that.

These are very much like the model called Multivan in 1990-1991.

See www.Vanagons.org where I’ve not yet added 1985, but look at 1986 as these kept the same configuration as 1985, but of course had the 1986 changes like 2.1L Digifant engine.
