Yup,

        good advice,  I’ll wait to see what the bearing kit from GW seems like when it arrives. 

I was thinking about the tape as not only making things quiet but maybe protecting the track from rust once I clean it up and paint it. 

I’ll have to see what the parts are like when they arrive. 

Being blind I’m a sound guy and I work hard to keep my van quiet and solid sounding.  I hunt down and remove rattles and such!

You have the new-type door.  It is significantly different and better than
the old type.  If you want it quieter than it is, get a set of the Delrin
rollers made by ?Mark Garnick? and sold by I think Van Cafe and maybe GW.
