I don't care what kind of vehicle it is, Vanagon or otherwise, nor do I care what my impressions of the seller are from a distance. I simply will not purchase a vehicle I have not personally inspected, taken to a competent mechanic for inspection and report, and seen proper documentation of ownership. I bought my 1991 Volkswagen Vanagon GL Campmobile in Lexington, Kentucky when I lived in Oklahoma. However, I went to Lexington and carried out all necessary preliminaries.

My first question of a seller is: "When and where can I see it?"
