hi all, I am replacing the fuel lines and some of them (on the top of the engine, WBX 2.1) have a beige plastic tube/shield around them, and they are very brittle and have cracks. what's the function of that shield - heat shield? abrasion shield? I'd think its heat shield but just asking... is it OK not replacing them and leave the fuel hoses bare? thanks dan |
