Edward, I removed the plastic screen frame to rebuild it with stock screen from Lowes. I cut the screen to fit the frame then put a fine line of silicone caulk on the screen contact surfaces then pressed the screen material into that. While the frame was out for the screen repair I got after the screech by using 100 grit sandpaper to sand down the high area of the frame so that it does not contact the glass. It didn't take much and has been effective for a year or so now.
