That's why VAG used a 6.0 mm^2 (fat 10-ga) wire to run from the panel back
to the solenoid.  That will drop maybe 0.2V, which is far less than the
1.5V maximum recommended drop for a starter control positive wire going to
a two-stage** solenoid.


**The Bosch starter solenoid has a pull-in winding that disconnects when
the solenoid is fully engaged, leaving a lower-current holding winding in
action.
