Subject: Sliding door adjustment tips
Content-type: text/plain; charset=utf-8

Hi listers,

Partial success on door hinge change.

I removed the old hinge on my sliding door and replaced with a new one. I did this alone as I couldn’t find local assistence.

The new hinge went on fine but now. the door is out of adjustment. I only changed the hinge at this point and didn’t do anything to the other pars. Still the door seems to sit a bit higher in the rear as it rubs the gutter when closing. Also the rollers bind a little bit as they go toward the rear of the van.

The hinge has three holes and the door openings seem to allow for the door to slide a bit forward and back but not really up and down. The new hinge has healthy parts including rubber rings that are missing on my old hinge. My old hinge was absolutely not functioning.

Tips on how to adjust would be greatly appreciated.
