Hi.

Did these new callipers replace rebuilt callipers that were faulty or worn? e.g. leaking or seized? i.e. was the quality of these new callipers just that much better than a rebuilt that it resulted in better brakes?

I recently had a calliper hardware part fail. New hardware wasn't easily available so I "broke down" and replaced the rebuilts with "new" rebuilts. Though the brakes work ok, brakes feel identical to what they were before. i have to wonder if a new part would be an improvement.

Thanks

Neil.
