I drilled new holes more or less located in a straight line from the battery. Once you have the grill off, you'll see area you can drill at. I don't recall the details but on my '88, the battery box had a hole that sufficed for supply wire or wires to relays.

I'd be curious of that engine block ID code. If its this engine that Quality German stocks, that would be great to know. $1499 USD. Not sure if "ex" means exchange:
