Hi Jeff, I’ll be looking forward to the answer. I have two bench seats one brown and one grey. The older brown one matches my van the newer grey one seems a bit lighter and has backs that flip down. Neither one seemed to fit perfectly as the slider didn’t want to close. I suspect both mine were for passenger vans. I was recommended to remove the arm rest on one side and that did make the seat fit beter. I recently removed both arm rests from the Grey one and that gave me some wiggle room. I then used the same bolts that hold down the metal track covers to secure the seat from sliding left to right. I only put in about two bolts. I suspect there is actual additional hardware for the seat to be secured but I’ve never had my hands on it. I’m looking forward to responses. Best, Eric Caron 85 GL Auto

How should I secure the bench seat from sliding (not that it ever would). There are brackets held in place with bolts. Do the brackets secure the frame somehow? Thanks Jeff Sent from my iPhone |
