Subject: Water infiltration

Hello people,
I have water getting into my van on the drivers side pretty bad when it
rains hard, and a tiny bit on the passenger side. I got ripped off on a
paint job they did a terrible job. They cut my antenna wire and didn’t
install the wire from the new one. I plugged that hole till I get a new
wire. The windshield rubber is brand new. They installed the vent wing
and bent it I taped it up so it is water tight until I get a chance to
install the new one I have. I thought that would fix it but water is still
getting in from some where in this terrible east coast rain.
It almost looks like it is coming from where the rear speaker wires come
down that channel on the passenger side. I’m not as concerned about that
side. It’s only a couple drops .
The driver side the water is getting in that gap behind the fuse panel and
some times it’s a pretty bad stream when it’s raining hard enough. A
little moisture is actually getting on the metal the fuse panel is
connected to and that is concerning. The wires aren’t wet or fuses but the
metal behind them is. I pulled out the instrument cluster felt all around
in there looked all around and I can’t find the source. It’s driving me
mad. Anyone have any ideas?
