Thanks, all.  Glad to know I can get back on the road quickly, without
too much worry, if the accessories and pulleys are OK.


No, I don't know what caused the belts to get thrown.  At least one of
the belts has obvious damage, a spot where the ribs are missing for a
few inches.  Otherwise I don't see damage.  But I haven't looked very
closely.

Dennis, thanks for the Gates part numbers.  Even Amazon thinks those are
the right belts for the Vanagon.
