hi Jack, I did check continuity of the wiring from the sender to the gauge/cluster by doing this: - measure the voltage of the wire and ground I got 10.5 V - shorting the wire to ground and the gauge went up to max with the red light blinking - measure the resistance of the sender in Ohm, it show the resistance varies when I apply heat to the sender so (according to me), - the sender is OK (I have 2, measured both and they show same) - there's signal from the sender to the gauge, the gauge reacts when I ground the wire, but some how the gauge did react to the signal from the sender (which is good) I am at lost.... thanks |
