Remove and reinsert either the sender or the housing bolt(s) depending, making sure they are seeing clean metal. Or you could use a hose clamp to clamp a wire to the sender body. I would not recommend soldering to the body as it might damage the seal or other innards. If you do solder, the elegant way would be to file down one of the flats so you can solder on a piece of brass in the form of a male spade terminal. Yrs, d |
