Right. These bumpers will bend, but not collapse like the cheap aftermarket steel bumper I have. The most likely bump from behind will be in stop and go traffic (much of the time here) while someone is texting. I just want to prevent a 5 to 10 mph hit from pushing the muffler into the RMW heat shield and the plastic timing cover. Anything harder is a collision, not a bump.
