Swapping alternators is easy. I did mine in 30 minutes in a FLAPS parking lot.

If I go for the new one, I'm keeping to old one to experiment on. Brush change doesn't look all that complicated. As long as my clumsy fingers comply.

Missed a camping trip with the kids (adults now) already, and am supposed to head out to Elmira NY on Wednesday. Oh well, pull out the wallet again and get a new alternator. That was easier to do when I was working, put in some OT to help, but now a retiree and it's tougher. Thanks for listening to that. I am very happy I made it to this point and can still work on the bus.
