Hey all,

I was having some terrible cold-start idling issues recently so I decided to buy the re-engineered GoWesty throttle body and install it myself. The job was easy, took about an hour, and I had to shorten the stock tension spring a little bit to get the throttle plate to completely close while driving. GW recommended to make that adjustment for a stiffer pedal anyhow. Our van has not driven this well since we purchased it in 2016, night and day difference. I am very pleased!

However, we are experiencing a weird power issue when starting the van from stone cold for the first time of the day. When I start the van and get ready to roll (set music etc, etc. ~30-60 sec.) and then take off I can only get up to about 2k RPM, there's just no go. Once the engine is up to temp (~2-3 more minutes) and then everything is great. It's not a major issue and just sitting there for 3-5 minutes total before taking off avoids it entirely so I'm not very concerned but I am wondering if it might be a sign of something failing. Thoughts?

Thanks!

Jared
