Hi Jim,


I placed a unit similar to this in the cabinet under the sink, when plugged into shore power, it charges both my main and aux battery.  Dual Bank is only $129.

It has worked wonderful for 10+ years, and my Aux battery is now 12 years old and running strong still.


Best to have matching batteries if possible, but works fine if they don't match.


I placed a separate battery power indicator below the seat belt on the passenger side to check the power levels on that as well.

wanted... charging my battery automatically while hooked up to shore power.
Any pointers on best practices for this? I want it to be idiot proof--plug
into 110, battery charges. Period.
