New fan from NAPA doesn't trigger the coolant light. As I wrote to the
group, this implicates the vanagon.org foil replacement as being more
sensitive to RF than the original foil, but to have everything working on
the dash I'll take it.

Thank you for your help. You certainly expanded my multimeter skills in
ways you will never know.
