A week or so ago I posted an odd-seeming problem with my 84 Digifant inline ABA motor...failing to restart after a long coast downhill, but after Cycling the ignition switch a few times, it'd go again and run perfect...till another long downhill... intermittent, too, but increasingly frequent. Quite a few people responded with ideas, ..many of them things already on "my list" ....but one nailed it with a faulty idle control module...a part I didn't know existed. .Then I found one in my spares...labled "ignition control module".. Stuck that in ...1000+ miles and no more problem... Thanks all |
