Hi, 40 amp hour/battery x 10 batteries = 400 AH. Divide by 2 (50% discharge) = 200 AH available. 100w panel will put out (approx) 7 amps @ 13 VDC. (charging voltage will vary depending on the stage... a good charge controller has at least 3 stages). 200 AH draw down in the batteries divided by 7 amps that the solar panel can generate = 28 hours of full strength sunlight with no additional discharge in order to bring the battery bank fully up. I don't know what the load is on the batteries, but this isn't balanced very well. This is back of the napkin math, but it is in the ballpark. Cheers, Steve W.
