Hi Alex,

Darn, I meant to be a good describer of symptoms!

It seems to be the front passenger side that makes the noise and is warmer then the other 3 wheels.

rear drums were recently replaced with GW heavy dudy drums.

They still shudder now and then when used but this was happening ever sense I got them back from the work done.

So, I’m suspecting front wheel for the sound. Rear drom for my break shutter.

I’m more worried about the squeal at this point.

Please keep the ideas coming.

I don't think you mentioned whether it was a front or rear wheel that was suspect, but I had similar symptoms that were due to a broken spring loose and grinding down inside a rear drum. After pounding and prying the drum off, it was an easy fix with a replacement spring kit.
