FYI: The 'Bus Depot' and 'Rocky Mountain / Van Cafe' adaptor plates using the 'gear reduction aka TDI starter are of my production, I supply all of the vendors above.

I do also offer a complete bolt-in package of the adaptor, new aftermarket starter, and sealed plug for $200 shipped. Before offering this I tested the aftermarket starters for two full years and 25K miles on my own van, a lot of starts.
