Sure, for a backup plan in the spares box. :) FYI, my adaptor prototype was spawned by three failures of the 'GW' / IMI starters on a customer's Syncro Westy within 50K miles. The turbodiesel engine in that van required more starter torque and speed than a stock starter could provide.
