Yes, everything I looked up when I found I had a few 1157's and no 1034's seemed to say they were interchangeable. In fact, it was said that the 1157's might be a bit longer lasting. As soon as it gets a little warmer and/or not raining out here, I am going to check bulb orientation. That may be the whole solution.
