Fun topic to share with the group!
My take is, if the 91 is currently in running and working order and is a good price take it and use it as is. No additional costs in changing over the motor and all that and you just have a great van to maintain.
As for the 88 take your time and finish the conversion.
Sell it when done or if you prefer it sell the 91. Selling off the 88 and the conversion parts sounds a bit challenging but you never know. Post it and see if that is needed to cover the 91 costs.
My feeling. If the 91 is solid get it and enjoy life! And, come visit me in VT.
