Subject: Blue coolant cap

I bought a blue coolant capĀ  that is an off brand one for my 1987 Vanagon as the on on the van is leaking no matter how tight I make it. It still drips under pressure. I thought the blue cap pressure was something like 15 pounds. This after market one is 20 pounds. Is it safe to use it? Thank you. Chris Snyder
