Subject: Rear hatch release thoughts
Content-Type: text/plain; charset=utf-8

Hi List,

Bent posted on Facebook the start of a rear hatch release exchange program. This lets those of us without a rear hatch release have one.

I’m looking forward to this. I like the idea for safety but also I think it is will be easier for me and quieter to slip out the back for a evening break and then back in. Quieter then the slider I bet.

Can someone describe to me what this actually looks like and where it comes out of the rear panel? I suspect I’ll want a handle to pull down from the inside once I figure this out.

Also, there is apparently a rubber end or a plastic reproduction of the metal end.

Anyone want to give me a description or recommendation?

It is in a recent thread on the facebook van cafe group.

Or, if you have a late model with the release tell me about it.

I’m looking forward to the upgrade. I already had made a habit of slipping out the back but this will make it much easier.
