Hello Zoltan,

I don't have my '84 anymore so going from memory. Spec idle as I remember is 950 rpm when warm, everything on and van in neutral or park. I ran timing at 5 deg. BTC. When you put it in gear, electronic idle stabilizer should bring idle back up. Idle stabilizer advances timing in distributor to keep idle constant. Remember that when you restart the van, the O2 sensor is cut out for the first two minutes. I had one bad experience where I had to drive my van from FL to Macon, GA, with a bad O2 sensor. Idle would drop off once I had to stop for traffic lights.
