got mine from Condelli. Thin sheet metal, warped from the heat of the burner, but still usable. Better than the stove grate. A trivet like used to put a glass pot on a stove burner should work, they're available from home supply companies, perhaps Bed, Bath, and Beyond. Always seemed like the regular grate was poorly designed. I guess Westphalia is at fault for that.
