yes David... I have a 1990 tintop with one key for all the door locks, hatch, ignition, gas cap. But in this case on another van I got 4 key sto use... I guess that the previous owner got a problem with one lock (usually dirt in the tumbler), had the lock changed but didn't bother to rekey it to match what he have (cost saving may be) and ended up with a key ring full of keys for different lock... after this saga I may offer a vanagon rekeying service... hahaha :-)
