I pretty much will be using mine for both backup and rear-view mirror. You can't be too careful in these rigs. I'm running mine from above the the license plate door over to the driver's side and up through the hole for the electrical wire bundle then straight up to the top of the cabinet. Then forward behind the cabinet. It's draped in the shelf over the window and then routed inside the ceiling facade and out to the unit covering the rearview mirror. I like it...

Unfortunately, my backup switch on the tranny apparently isn't working so I'm going to have to swap it out for a good one.
