Ah, very good David. For me, this is a new product offering. I haven't seen it before; they used to offer the stick-on clock but looks discontinued. I will also say that my Vanagon is always garage-kept and thus not subject to such harsh conditions as to make an LCD leak. So good for GoWesty! A fine solution, those guys always come through somehow. For those with clock problems but not a sun-baked situation, the Q-tip and alcohol cleaning is a good first try. If you look closer, that's a replacement LCD and a pair of zebra strips, for when the original has leaked and turned black. A bit spendy ($36) but it's a fine clock worth spending a bit on. Four megahertz crystal, should have a rate of less than five seconds a month. Yrs,d Yrs,d |
