hi Dennis,
Yes the oil pressure light is working when the ignition is ON and went out
when the engine started... after a day and a few idling cycle and oil
buzzer doesn't come on anymore but the noise is still there. My mechanic
offers a free inspection tomorrow... I will keep you updated.
Thanks for the tip of the oil filter... I always fill the oil filter before
put it on...
a question here if you don't mind...
- is it bad practice to drain the oil when engine and the oil are very hot
(like running temperature)? I have a nagging feeling that the oil was drain
when it was very hot is not good and nothing left on the oil pump thus
create a pocket of air meaning hard to prime.
