For the first time I overfilled the oil when I changed it on my '86.  How
to get that extra oil out?  I found some of that 1/4" plastic plumbing
tubing like you would use to hook up a fridge or ice maker.  I then got a
plastic container with a fairly tight fitting lid and drilled a hole in the
lid a little smaller than the plastic tubing so it would push through and
seal with the hole.  then I drilled a few more holes in the lid a bit away
from the one with the tube in it.  Stuck the loose end of the tube down the
oil filler.  took my shop vac and started it sucking on the lid where the
other holes are.  this worked pretty well and I had enough oil out in a few
minutes.  Maybe that will help someone else out.  How have you removes
excess oil from the crankcase?
