I should probably post more since I'm working on Vanagons again. I lurk mostly now but read most of the posts here now on this list 21 years

I'm driving a 1982 Tintop for about 2 years now. Last year I installed a Westy interior into it like Don's.

My original 82 Assuan Brown Westfalia hasnt run well enough to use since 2011 I have the 82 Tintop up on stands now with the gas tank dropped to replace the shift bushing and finish the power steering lines.

This tintop has a 2 liter ABA engine that runs good. As soon as I get my Westfalia back on the road, I'm selling the Tintop wannabe. Robert

My 82 Westfalia with the 95 Golf engine is getting a replacement engine wiring harness. The the VCDS program didn't find any faults, but my original wiring job was poorly done. It bothers me that it's taken so long.
