I expect to have a '91 GL with a Subaru 2.2L engine and 4-speed manual
transmission on the road soon.  I purchased the van from a gentleman in
Illinois.  Right now it is at European Auto Clinic in Macon for overhaul of the
brake systems including replacement of brake lines that were corroded by road
salt.  Next step will be to find Subaru-knowledgeable mechanic to check engine
and do any necessary service.  After that, it should be ready for the road.  I
all is still good, it will be time for restoration of the exterior and
repainting.
