 Late to arrive (early 2002) to this list compared to many here but still
reading virtually every post.  And early on found it invaluable as I got
really serious about my '90 Westy that replaced the '85 I had totaled. And
still do.  As for those unwilling to join the  gaggle of  FB  Vanagon
related groups (just as valuable for today) you can avoid posting any
personal info that  get some into trouble there. Yes, a lot of 'chatter'
but at least once a week we see detailed technical issues addressed and
resolved, just the same as Gerry still does, just not as often now.
