I'm still lurking, even though I sold my 84..The young man who bought it began with a great adventure. Down the West coast and across to Maryland..He loves it and his father has another one with the same motor. I'll be baack...when the next one catches my eye...but for now I can only afford a GM Safari, in many ways less fun, but cheap and easy with AWD.. So keep on truckin.. vanagon list.. Don Hanson
