I put the van away every Fall and make sure the system is drained, plus there is additional time between when it goes into storage and freeze up for any drops left behind to evaporate so I do not believe that is the cause. I've had this van since 2003 and have a pretty good routine for both parking it for the winter and awakening it come spring. I suspect there was an issue with this faucet since it had signs of leakage early on but not enough to easily locate the source. I guess this gives me a reason to locate a gray one if I can find it as that will better match the interior.
