This agrees with my experience. I expect it will get hotter in really bright sun than from the fridge running.

Still that idea to use the stethoscope is pretty cool! I even have a extra > one. >

I would think that a headless stethoscope (just the tube) would work best.

Send me one to play with and I can make it happen one way or another. Or how about a handheld device you can press over an indicator that will buzz if the indicator is lit? Pmail me.
