I just realized I've had my curret tintop Vanagon GL for 21 years. For My first Vanagon I bought a Tintop 1985 GL in Kenai, Alaska. Stole it, actually. Ir had a leaking power steering rack and was acstrane vehiclevto most Alaskans, especially where I was. The saleman said everybody was afraid of it. I always like a challenge. So with a substantial discount to get it off inventory and off the car lot, I bought it

Li ttle did I know what I was getting myself into. Twenty nine years later I'm still driving a Vanagon, and driving the same one for the last 21 yesrs and loving every minuite of it. There's really nothing like it. .
