When I still had the refrigerator, I ran it on battery when underway. I
only discovered that it was blowing out when I one time when I was moving
camp about five miles, and thought that that one time I would leave the
propane on. The owner's manual actually states that the vehicle should not
be driven with the propane valve open. mcneely
