Hi Mark,

That sounds so frustrating. Sadly I’ve had some similar experiences with som past shops.

Luckily, this time all has gone well. I found a good shop that works mainly on things like suspension, breaks, and alignment. They work on older cars as well as newer ones. They first took their time on my alignment and now took the time to assess my passenger wheel issue. I came in basically with it diagnosed, thanks to this list.

Just like you Mark, it was a break caliper.

It is now replaced. Heidi, my main driver, reported the break pedal was the same and all working well. No more noises and so the left turn squeal issue turned out to be a stuck and failing break caliper.

Thanks to everyone for sharing the similar stories, ideas and tips. It got me to the right place.!
