Subject: update floor in camper without removing cabinets
Content-Type: text/plain; charset="UTF-8"

Our 83 westy has the original brown carpet.

I am planning on adding rails for a middle seat. You can see the carpet, the rails (and the covers we have for them) in this photo: https://photos.app.goo.gl/MTSjzPBvZyRe1bYr5 (The rear bench seat is out in this picture).

I am planning on installing the rails without removing the cabinets, as this guy does in this video here: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=RQAbf0iIt28

My question is about replacing the carpet with something else (more carpet? wood?) at the same time. Will I be able to pull out the carpet from under the cabinets and then slide the new floor underneath?

Thanks! Wes
