Hi Dennis, Good advice. I have ordered two rear brake cylinders, I didn’t like the degraded nipple on the left rear and instead of replacing nipple I went for full replace. Even though those cylinders aren’t stock, I put new in when I bought the van in 2010. Oh and I did order the ate internal spring cylinders. You’ve written much about rear brake mechanism and adjustment, and I’ve appreciated it. I still think I haven’t got it right, I’ll go over it all again in the cylinder replacement. Shoes are relatively new, but I’ll note the wear pattern. You want at least 2/3 of the shoe showing some wear, not just the top 2-3 inches. Make sure drums, rotors are not worn, turned beyond the wear limits.
