Yes. The archive. For the groups that I’ve set up, that is the major impact. Some folks seem to feel that archived messages are important. Personally, I’m ambivalent, but I do have to admit that it’s interesting to browse the vanagon@gerry archives from time to time. Are such archives of value? More so to some than others. I’m planning on at least capturing the data. That will at least give me options.
As to other data being removed, Yahoo! Lists the following:
• Files
• Polls
• Links
• Photos
• Folders
• Calendar
• Database
• Attachments
• Conversations
• Email Updates
• Message Digest
• Message History

In reading the message on Yahoo Groups, isn't the only change that the
archive of the list emails will no longer be hosted on Yahoo? Emails will
still be sent to the list, and normal list activities/management will be
possible, I believe.
