Just thought I would mention this on here if anyone needs a good first car
for their kid.  We bought this 2001 New Beetle for my daughters birthday
when she turned 16 about 6 years ago.  It had 200k miles on it at that
time.  I went through it with new brakes, suspension parts, water pump and
timing belt, tune up stuff.  It now has 218k and she was driving back and
forth to work every day.  We replaced the tires and the rear section of the
exhaust system.  I am asking $2000 for this used, but loved Bug.  She is
selling because she has been working hard and wants something new and
nicer.  We bought a 2015 New Beetle so this one has to go.  If you are
interested, let me know.
