When I changed out my steel rims on my 84, I got all my lugs / bolts / studs from T3 Technique. High quality, reasonable price! http://t3technique.com/lug-nuts-studs-and-bolts/lug-nuts.html Remember torque on alloys is about 90ft pounds too... you don't need as much as on steel rims. -----Original Message----- From: Vanagon Mailing List [mailto:vanagon@gerry.vanagon.com] On Behalf Of Dan N Sent: Thursday, October 31, 2019 6:24 PM To: vanagon@GERRY.VANAGON.COM Subject: lug nuts question hi all, I have a 1985 tintop with 14" rims, a friend gave me a set 14" VW alloys (from 1998 van).
