At Last!  A question.  Thanks Doug.  I've been hoping and waiting for some chatter.  I started thinking everyone on this list must already know everything Vanagon.  Or their busses are put away for the winter.  Poor things.  Left all alone for months.  Not mine.  Perfect skiing/snowshoeing/winter camping vehicle. Thanks;Dave B.

First, haven’t seen much traffic here lately. Is the list still going?

Question:  87 Westy, 2WD, Go Westy Lift kit.  Looking at installing the General Grabber APT (215 70/16), which is less aggressive than then AT.  I am looking for a tire that is not excessively loud, that is good on pavement and logging roads, and that has a snowflake.

If not this tire, any suggestions.

Thanks.  Also see that I cannot get to the gerry.vanagon.com<http://gerry.vanagon.com> website, so something must be amiss?
